The Chill-Its 6493FR Cooling Neck Gaiter offers cooling relief and fire-resistant protection for the head, face and neck. With a NFPA 70E CAT 1 classification, the fire-resistant fabric will not melt or drip and is designed for environments involving electric arc flash exposure. For an instant cooling effect that lasts up to two hours, simply activate the neck gaiter's modacrylic fibers with water. When worn dry, the soft, stretchy material also provides a moisture-wicking and absorbent cooling effect, drawing sweat away and helping to regulate body temperature. Whether used as a fire-resistant headband, face mask, neckerchief or one of the many other ways to wear, this versatile one-size-fits-most solution is ideal PPE for petrochemical, electrical, oil and gas and refinery work. Machine washable for easy-to-clean convenience.
